my favourite bands are nirvana who everyone should know, skunk anansie who're a british rock band with the most astounding singer on the face of the earth and pansy division who're a queercore band whose lyrics are a mix of politics, sex and humour.

If my Last.fm page is to be trusted, these are my favorite bands:
Organized by plays, not time listened to

Sevendust - Alpha favorite (also the first band I ever listened to a CD in full from)
Chimaira - Impossibility of Reason favorite
Disturbed - Indestructible/The Sickness favorite
In Flames - Soundtrack to Your Escape/Reroute to Remain favorite
Opeth - Still Life/Morningrise favorite (only own first 4 albums)
Nonpoint - I like pretty much everything they've ever put out equally, Vengeance less-so
Machine Head - Up 5 spots in time spent listening to them...so damn powerful with very meaningful lyrics
Dark Tranquillity - We Are the Void (Tour Edition) and Character favorite, interested in buying Projector
Pearl Jam - Great band to relax to with a nice range of styles and moods (odd one out of the top 10)
Element Eighty - One of the best bands I have ever heard...simple relatable lyrics with a lot of talent

Favourite band - New Model Army, followed by a rotating list of dozens depending on mood. NMA have remained the constant.
