If it isn't one issue it's another!

Loud when I talk:Constantly told to SHH! since I'm being loud. (Usually when I'm excited over something I'm louder.)

Meltdowns: Had a big one today was all emotional and started crying sadly families view is OMG! you're an adult you're crying over (to them something small/no big deal) but to me it pushed me over the edge!

Saying the wrong thing: Rudeness or such as today telling mom "You need to clean your closet." Her response: DON'T TELL ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO!! !! ! (That upset me to tears.) :-(

I'm clumsy and trip so motor issues. I have to watch where I walk constantly!! My legs/feet are always twisting around such as that hole in the dirt I step into or that hose I trip/almost trip over!! !! !

Sadly keeping track of ALL OF THIS! Is too time consuming on my brain!! !! !! Why can I get straight A's in College! Have PhD DISSERTATION IDEAS, I am wanting to do research! Yet have issues with basic stuff that no one else I know has a problem with!! !! ! I've ran into 2 Elementary school friends both have a boyfriend and/or husband and FOR GOD SAKE I'VE NEVER DATED/KISSED A GUY OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT!! !! !

Can anyone relate???

Yeah, I can definitely relate! People are always shushing me in restaurants, and I have issues with people not understanding when I have a meltdown. I react in the exact same way - I cry - and people get all uncomfortable and say "stop crying" which doesn't help at all! I am also very clumsy, stumbling around, misplacing things, falling down. So you aren't alone! It is hard!

Yes. I talk loud but people let me know my voice is loud. They don't tell me "shhh"

My parents have gotten mad at me for my meltdowns and I had one like last month or two months ago and my husband acted like I did it on purpose because he said I was an adult and our baby comes first like as if I am in control of my meltdowns.

Saying the wrong things, it's your family with the problem. I don't see how telling someone to clean their closet is a problem. I think your mother may have interpreted it as you telling her to clean it than commenting. But mine never treated me that way.

SHEESH! We are intelligent some more so than NT's we know but we ARE emotionally immature and tend to get tour down easily. Perhaps a comment of sensory overload etc. I had one yesterday Logan (nephew 4) was being bad he wouldn't stop whining. When mom got back in the car on the way to the park I broke down crying. OMG! that made an adult cry!! !! My family doesn't get me at all!! ! BOO!
