I had a bottle of this:

…which was a 16%, half-litre bottle of Imperial Stout. After that I had a can and a bit of pale lager. I fell asleep. By the time I woke up it was around 8pm and I felt too knackered to do anything, although we specifically agreed on going out tonight for my birthday. My father and brother had already eaten so there wasn't a great deal of point in me going out just with my mum.

Received a few cards too, mainly from friends and family although I got one from the disability organisation Outsiders which was certainly a surprise.

I need to be in bed now - I'm up early tomorrow morning.
