Im lazy, so Ill just post the Project FAQ:
Project Legacy FAQ wrote:
The Legacy Project is unique in many aspects, and can be confusing at first without someone to explain it. Here are some frequently asked questions to help you better understand our goals and methods. If you still have questions on the Project, you can email a Project Leader, such as Leo, Tom, or Zephir, or you can ask them or someone else via our forums.
* What is the Project?
The best way to explain the Project is as an effort to improve current world governmental systems. The systems currently in place lack equality and justice, and promote arbitrary hierarchies, which are susceptable to corruption. We propose a more horizontal system, where one small minority of people cannot dictate the actions of the majority of global citizens.
* Is the Project an experiment in utopian society?
Not at all. Although we do hope that our plan results in a much more egalitarian society, we are by no means foolish enough to believe that it will create a utopian earth. There will still be challenges that society faces today. But in this plan, it will be much easier to deal with such issues, and there will be much less of them.
* Is the Project a Communist organization?
The Legacy Project is politically neutral by definition. It is different from all other current ideas. However it does share characteristics of socialist, technocratic, and libertarian thought. We try to avoid such labels, because of stereotypes. Calling it by another name causes too much confusion. Also, there is a difference betweem Communism, the governing system of Russia, China, and Cuba, and communism (wih a lowercase C), which is a political theory based on economic equality. This is a fine point, so if you're still confused, ask someone on the forums or through email.
* Are the Project Leaders in charge of the Project?
Not precisely. The Project Leaders are the custodians of the forum and webpage, ensuring that all the technical aspects work, but they do not determine the policies of the Project on their own. All decisions are made jointly. Members make the decisions, and the Leaders implement them.
* What is the difference between the different Member Groups?
Project Leaders administrate the forums and homepage. Project Recruiters actively seek out others to aid the Project. Project Trusted are members who have access to the contact information list. These members must have displyed integrity and trust. We take the security of our member's data very seriously. Project Members are cleared to access the main debate forums, and Members can access the General forum. The reason for this is to avoid casual attacks by spammers; nearly all members are vetted as Project Members within a day, unless there is prior reason to assume that they cannot be trusted.
There is no real hierarchy between groups, it is simply a matter of specialization. Project Members have the same weight as Project Leaders, and vice versa.
* I don't agree with your views at all--should I join?
Yes! Though we won't necessarily turn the entire direction of the Project around, we'll certainly consider input from anyone and any side. This is to serve the people--if they feel a certain way, that's the way we'll go.
* Hw can I help the Project?
Currently we're in the midst of creating a secure donation link; however, you can also lend your voice and expertise on our forums. You can help aid in web design, or work to promote the Project in your local area. Any contribution of time, talent, or money is always welcome.

Please note: where the FAQ mentions "implementation", it refers to testing of Project ideas in a controlled setting by volunteers.
