he's very shy, which is a common aspie char. also he has a strange sense of humor and a tendency to obsess.

I tend to prefer music that is not made of autotune and other poppy electronic music effects...I don't mind electronic music but It has to be at least a little heavy.

Call me crazy, but the music video to Fireflies pretty much was the indicator for me that he was.

I totally called it in this guy months ago. You can see it in the way he performs and the subject matter in his lyrics.

That is pretty shocking lol but I guess virtually everyone hasn't heard of something obvious.

This made me really happy for some reason! I don't really know why, just that I love finding out really succesful people or people who I might look up to have it too. :)

I was kind of hoping that he was joking about the whole karaoke thing, honestly :P Then again I suppose he's probably not the only one who's never heard of it!

To be honest, I had never heard of karaoke before I took my japanese courses at community college some years ago. At least now I actually know what it means. Only comes to show that if you don't go out with people, you don't know what some of these social events are.

I didn't know what karaoke was until my late teens. How should I be expected to know what drunk people do when they're at bars and clubs? I know they're loud and like to dance, and that's enough for me to stay 100 yards away at all times.

It's cool that he has Asperger's, but "Fireflies" is still a terrible song.

Terrible how? I'm not a big fan of synthpop myself, but I still like it well enough. If you look at it from a musical standpoint, it's a very well put-together song.
