Your Result
HARDCORE MARXIST
You are very Marxist and are highly supportive of Socialism and/or Communism. In your view, it's not necessary to stratify people into classes based on wealth; everyone can be equal in that regard. Communal ownership of all possessions is the way to accomplish that; it removes any class distinctions and fosters an atmosphere of caring and cooperation. We can accomplish far more if we work together than if we're all competing and pulling in our own directions. This system does require that everyone be willing to sacrifice their own comfort for the good of the whole now and then, but you think that most people are decent and mature enough to do this, especially if they've been brought up in the Marxist system from an early age.

Your Result

HARDCORE CAPITALIST
You are very capitalist. You believe in a free market system with no restrictions by a government...or no government except the corporate state. You want a dog-eat-dog world of intense competition, where only the toughest survive. It may not be a very nice world to live in, but it produces the best, cheapest products as quickly as possible. You may also be a Social Darwinist who believes that the rich are the best, most meritful people in the world, and deserve to be on top, and that the poor are poor because they are lazy. After all, if they were willing to work hard, they could make money like anyone else, right?

---

Thought I'd actually get something lesser than "hardcore", since I strongly disagreed with one of the statements about the poor being poor because they're lazy... I have a few poor friends, and they work very hard, just no opportunities out there really for them to advance or save up or anything since the economy is so crappy (thanks to Keynesianists and Marxists in my opinion). While there are people out there that are paid by our tax dollars to be lazy and stay poor, my experience so far suggests they're a minority among the poor, even if a sizable one.

This is not intended to lead to some debate...but can Marxists really be blamed for an economy they have no part in?

HARDCORE CAPITALIST

…but I'm not in many ways.

The quiz is pointless - it takes two extremes and puts everyone into one or the other opposing camps.

This quiz is just for fun. It does give moderate results as well, just no one got them yet.

MODERATE MARXIST
You're leaning in the direction of Marxism, Socialism or Communism, but your viewpoint isn't fanatic. You realize that this system has some problems, but you think it's better than the rich-get-richer, poor-get-poorer free market. You might be in favor of socialized medicine and nationalization of big business, but believe that it's all right for people to own their own homes, cars, and small businesses. You think that the economy should be mostly controlled by the government, and people should be more or less equal in economic status, but that a little individual freedom is necessary.

MODERATE CAPITALIST
You are leaning in the capitalist direction, but your viewpoint isn't fanatic. You realize that the free market system has some problems, so you want a limited amount of government control of the economy. However, you feel that competition is the best way to create better, cheaper products, and you like the social mobility of being able to amass as much wealth as you can based with your abilities and talents.

Pointless, yes, but there are more than two outcomes (as seen above.)

not everything in life has to have a point, sometimes it is harmless fun just to waste one's own time engaging in aimless trifles.

I'm a bit surprised by my result; I expected to get hardcore Marxist.

_ _ _

With this government, people work for everyone. With everyone working together, they can live very well. Read the book 'Animal Farm' where Old Major tries to start a communism, then Snowball tries for a democracy, but Napoleon makes a dictatorship. It's about the Russian Revolution. It's good! Read it!
