Just a case of pure economics really, and our current medical system and profit

I heard that traditionally in China a doctor was only paid when you were well, when your family was sick they we not paid IE: they were not doing their job properly

So what the hell happened??

What a novel concept - doctors working to keep people healthy rather cashing in on preventable illnesses...

You do realize that talk like that will get you branded a socialist. Big Pharma will hunt you down for suggesting that people NOT get sick in the first place...

I disagree. Money is simply a commodity, the currently accepted means of compensation for goods and services. It is the emotional/spiritual/psychological impact in the background of our minds that makes it evil.

In that case - would you send me yours? I happen to be quite fond of it.

If we were to abolish money, what would you suggest we use as currency?

I'm curious as to what would happen if you weren't sick and refused to pay the doctor?
