Its called a signature.

You can create or edit one at this page, http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php? ... p=edituser (scroll down to textbox saying "Signature")

All modern forumboards have this feature, most forum users abuse it with non-sense or big images mostly, luckily not many do it here.

Congrats on solving your problems and I must say, I actually like that signature you got there.
