I have gotten a distinctly anti-me vibe in both the chats and the forums. Many of you seem to have railed on me in prior topics(I remember the word jerk being used), and the chatrooms are also increasingly unwelcome(word emo seems to be coming up much more there). So I will open this up for two purposes:
1.Let loose. If you want to hate me, feel free. Call me all of the abhorant names you like and please keep them the hell out of other topics, because it's starting to piss me off that I can't leave the insults anywhere.
2.A poll. I want to see how many people honestly don't want me here. If it's over a certain percent, I will leave. For obvious reasons, I'm not telling the magic number.

Postscript-Unlike some people that ask questions and get upset when given an unfavourable response, if you think I'm not welcome here and say as much, I won't start topics demanding that you be banned. You will be on my enemies list if I don't leave, but I won't attempt to get you banned.

I have not read any of the posts you mention, but to all those who have made your brother feel unwelcome, shame on you! This is not what this site is for! This is a place for Aspies to come, when they need help, information, or compaionship! We are all brothers and sisters! We share the same pain, and the same oppression by NTs! That is the reason we came here, and that is the reason we must stay!

When I saw the thread title I was going to respond, "Well, are you a flamming a**hole?" Since it's you, I'll give a little more.

I don't like some of the things you say. I can't think of any specific examples at the moment, but you seem a little antagonistic sometimes. (Hence your username, I assume.) But that's far from not liking you or thinking you don't belong here. We all have some rough edges. You don't engage in personal attacks that I've seen, and that's all that matters to me. I don't care for ass-kissers, brown-nosers, suck-uppers, and other people who speak and act in a manner that they think will generate approval. You're true to yourself and respectful of others. That's fine by me.

Is now a good time to ask you what your username means?

Subatai Ba'adur was a famous Mongol general in the 1200s that conquered significant amounts of the known world with Ghenghis Khan. I also suspect that he was autistic.

I think that I tend to cross a few nerves myself so I have no problems with you. I would fight for the right of the self-hating aspie to spread his message if only to prove to him that we as a community are not afraid, I most certainly am not going to care if an aspie just have different views. This is a community formed on one common front, and that front is aspieness. If you think you are abrasive, just try to be careful, people here can sometimes be sensitive.

Some of the things you've said seem abrupt and harsh.

But I'm a newbie here, so I don't know much.

Plus it's hardly at the stage where I'd want to ban you for it.

I just worry when I see aggressive posts because I know that some people here are particularly sensitive to criticism. There are topics about bullying, aren't there? But on the other hand maybe your AS means you find it hard to judge what is hurtful.

Don't worry.

Of course you're welcome here! Why would you ask such a thing? I admire you, because you speak your Mind and get to the Point. :) If people don't like your rough edges, than that's their problem, not yours. The World isn't made of just marshmallows.

As long as you're not sending threatening pms to members I don't really care. One of the reasons I'm happy I graduated from high school is because of this whole emo phase. The funny thing is that I'm more annoyed by the people who b***h about emo. On another website people actually called Taco Bell emo. They were completely serious. Maybe I'm just getting old.

You're welcome to stay. Nobody says you have to leave.
