Noscript blocks my ability to post if i use it to block all these stupid damned blinking icons. So, why is it that we have no "no blinking" button?

I mean, doesn't anyone else have this problem? all these stupid smileys and all these stupid twitching topic icons, and they bother no others?

Press "Esc" and they stop blinking.

Hitting escape also stops animated avatars and freezes the group of emoticons when you are writing a post. But, if you are writing a post and press escape in the middle of writing your post it will turn off the emoticon animations, but it will also erase your post. So, it is best to hit escape in the post window before you start typing, to freeze the emoticons.
