What are the NT eyes you looked at while coming up with this? That post was a bit confusing--your last one--so I am not all that sure what "the different eye" meant.

My left eye has more of a fold. I'm comparing it with pictures of people around me and both lids look even.

Well i'm french and it's complicate enough to explain, i will do my little study quietly, so it's ok if you see nothing special right now. I can't say much more, i'm not a specialist and i do with my own means.

Isn't this just mild esotropia or amblyopia?

I had a lazy eye as a child. Had an operation to correct it.

I'm sorry but as an artist who specialises in portraiture and has studied many faces / eyes, I see nothing significant whatsoever. Everyone has individual eyes, with unique features, even those of us on the spectrum.

All look the same to me, why would having a brain that is wired a bit differently affect the way the corner of the eye is folded.

I suppose somebody is going to give me a big page full of some sort of scientific study and expect me to understand and believe it. Well I may be stupid but I choose not to believe it.

Me neither. Usually some people on the spectrum think they see things that are not there, just so they can convince everyone to believe that people with Autism are physically separated from NT people, and think that ''an Aspie in disguise'' must not exist.

i agree.

my eyes are quite rounded and look like they have no folds at all like most peoples have. never asociated it to my autism though, just assumed it was just the way i look, autistic or not.

everyone is! every human face in existence is asymmetrical to one degree or another.

There have been experiments where human faces were mirror imaged, and they provoked feelings of extreme unease in the viewer. The most common comment was that the faces looked weird and artificial, almost alien. Even eyes vary from left eye to right eye, sometimes quite significantly!

I think anyone who is trying to link autism to any kind of facial feature is grasping at straws, very ephemeral straws.

My eyes are slightly different shapes and when I yawn, one eye opens really wide and the other closes unless I consciously stop them.
