Anyone here who actually like real-life forensics, not CS, NCIS, etc fanboys?

I wanna start a thread where we discuss various cases, some famous, some infamous, some obscure. I'd like to avoid some courtroom procedure, and focus (mainly) on the forensic sciences involved, as well as their various pros/cons.

If no-one starts the ball rolling, I'll start it myself.
