does anyone have issues with hygiene?

I have no issues with hygiene.

It's those unbathed scumbuckets on the production floor that I have issues with.

Showering/bathing wastes water.
Bathe in a waterfall, stream, or lake, or not at all.

Save the earth!

I shower every other day or so. I don't have a job and I'm not dating anyone, so it's not like I have to smell pretty for anyone. If I'm in either of those situations, however, it's every day.

Sometimes if I'm lazy I'll go a day without showering, but that's rare.

It bugs me showering every night. Unfortunately I have to, though.

Oh well, I do like the days where I have nothing on so can go several days sitting in my own filth!

I jump in and take quick showers seemingly 3-4 times a day. But, despite just getting done running and feeling hot and light-headed, I have yet to shower.

I shower every other day or so now, and I've established a strict routine for when I do it so as to at least be clean and presentable. It's hard though, it's hard to be aware of your own body above other things, I have very bad... body awareness, I suppose I'd call it? It extends to much more than hygiene, unfortunately.

And liquid soap and hand sanitizer freaks me out. And make-up. And lotion... eurgh!

But I also brush and pull on my hair a lot, which is relaxing, like pacing, so my hair looks much better than it ought to! Strangers have come up to me and told me how pretty it is, and asked what I do to it... and I say, "Um... I brush it?"

Gah. I hate going to the store or the doctor's office or whatever and someone says, "Can I help you?" while spurting a big glob of hand sanitizer into their hands and rubbing their hands together while making a noise that sounds like mixing potato salad with a shovel.

And both my mother and my sister have a bad habit of using hand lotion several times a day and immediately touching sink faucets, remote controls, doorknobs, and anything else I touch on a regular basis. This would be maddening even if I didn't have OCD.

I took a bath today, it was nice.

I can't get dressed, go outside or do anything without having a shower first on a morning. It's not that I feel dirty, I just feel uncomfortable for whatever reason.

I have trouble sleeping unless I shower right before bed. I like to sleep in a cold room so I can use a proper thick blanket and having wet hair makes it that much cooler.

I used to have a really bad problem with this when I was younger.

Now, I shower every day (if I am in school) and wash my hair.....but if I'm not, I shower anytime I need to go somewhere (like church).

I have a bath or a shower everyday.
