I actually have two desktop wallpapers, for summer and winter .

This is the summer version:

And the winter version:

Those pictures are centred on a uniform background of the colour of the edge of the pictures.

And for those wondering, yes, this is my dog

I like to make collage desktops with GIMP. Here's mine:
