Hello everyone I hope Ive posted this in the right area. I love to write poems and write songs I have be writing songs and poems for many years and thought I would share a few with you all I find I can express myself alot better instead of face to face on paper.

My World

A tree stands alone on a deserted plain,
A forest ever growing,
A drop of rain,
Time stands still in this world of mine, Slow it maybe, like doing a mime,
I cannot see out you cannot see in,
Its my world I wont let you in,
A beach with sand and water so blue, I sit on that beach enjoying the view,
A place I feel safe, my comfort zone, A place to relax, A place I call my own,
So the next time you see me sitting all alone, looking like a zombie, spaced out like a drone, don't be afraid, concerned or affended, I am in my a place where I am accepted.

Very beautiful poem that I can relate to. Is this supposed to describe how we aspies are said to live in our own little worlds?

I just had a walk alone in a park and a man came towards me. He asked me if I'm alright. I suppose I stared like a psychopath or like a drug addict because I was lost in my thoughts; my own world.
