Java tutor needed for 11 year old boy w/AS (Washington DC)

My son would like tutoring in how to make 3D games in Java and how to use SQL. We live in Washington DC, near Cleveland Park Metro. Child has advanced (self-taught mostly) computer skills and is very creative. He has developed own web site with games and fun stuff. Need patient teacher, who can deal with AS quirks.

Flexible evening times, once or twice a week for 1.5 hours, Rate $50 per hour.

If I lived closer I would be asking for programming lessons from your son. Kid sounds brilliant.

I have seen technical colleges advertise on tv for video game programming degrees. Have you check out these schools to see if they have any long distance or online classes? He might not be able to get a degree because of age but perhaps he could take a few classes or maybe you could enroll since you're adult and then let him have the class materials. Look online because there are lots of classes available including a completely online high school. Just an idea for you.
