thanks for your comments......louie is amazing, at 15 or 16 he is still doing well. he sees his veterinarians once a week and they keep close watch on him. he allows me to take him to the dog parks frequently and he gets to visit his friends. he has spent most of the summer indoors due to the heat but as it is about 65 f right now, he's on the porch watching all the bird and squirrel activity going on. ok, now he's asleep. wish i could do that.
