Can't change my email address

I killed the email account given here, but I can't update to my current email address. I want to know if there are replies to my posts, but I'm not going to get any notifications. I've keyed in my current email address, but it keeps reverting to the old address. I can't find a button or option for changing it and saving the change. Can anyone help?

i did it just now and it worked fine.... My account> edit profile> type new email address> scroll down> click 'save changes made' button (not quite at bottom of page, just above the bit for changing your avatar, and below the change your password option)
