Agreed, it's irritating - but updates happening any time soon is unlikely, I'm afraid.

I suggest that we get rid of the Site Suggestions thread since no updates or changes are at all likely.

Yeah but I like this thread. It's a bit like the rant and rave thread but except I can rant and rave about the site. Not that I do that often but I still like the thread.

Is there a place where moderators can discuss things between themselves where a certain subject can be raised?

Easiest way is to PM a moderator. If we don't know what it is we can't discuss it...

Restore custom ranks. Why were those ever disabled anyways?

Like where it says "veteran", there used to be the option to have one's own rank of whatever, just for fun. I'd bet someone got offended at something, or worried about potential offense, but IDK. Either way, it was something that was cool and I've noticed it's missing.

Oh yeah I remember that. I think they lost that function when the site got a facelift.
