Just got my new Logitech 350 headset - however, it now appears to have a rather irritating bassy distortiony sound. I've tried fidding around with Volume Control to no avail.

Any ideas?

Ta. :)

I would do, but I don't think that's the problem with it. What I want is a program so I can turn down the bass because I don't think sending it back will do much good.

Oh - it's also a USB headset.

And thank you - try the link at the bottom of the image if you'd like a larger one. ;)

What program do you listen to it through? There should be an EQ somewhere in its settings.

I'm not daft, mate. ;) It's not anything to do with EQ and all that.

It must be the sound quality from the headset itself. :)

Well, with EQ, you can control the sound quality and take the bass down...compensate for the weakness of the headset.

Make sure you have the sound set to headphones not some other setting. Some music has werid bass that could be it maybe ? Check the sound card settings as well.
