(I actually don't care about the news that much, since it is often fairly depressing. I prefer to study math and science textbooks to learn about the real world rather than merely the world of human events. If we ever get a spacefaring civilization going though, that would be news I'd be interested, especially since it would mean the possibility of leaving this bloody planet.)
