I'm not really sure if this is an autism thing, just a me thing, or an everyone thing. When I look around I have a constant layer of 3 dimensional objects in my field of vision, but not blocking what I'm seeing with my eyes. Often it will be things I'm working on, things I've seen, or overlaps of memories on my mind. They in no way obstructions what I see with my eyes. It's almost like an extra layer of "thinking vision".

ive end up with it as well. It can get annoying at times BUT has a lot of useful-ness, especially if I am putting something together or taking it apart.

I don't do that, but I'm also not a visual thinking. Maybe others who think in pictures can have a better idea of if that's normal or not.
