I've had the pleasure of a litre bottle of Portuguese beer called Super Bock tonight. Very, very good I must say. Strong stuff but you wouldn't realise it.

i have too expensive taste for my budget.. hate all the standard brews that the Americans call beer.. give me the micro brews. or give me Japenese beer, Italian beer.. there is a little hole in the wall in my area called Homes & Watson, and you can take a beer trip around the world. its well worth the money you pay to taste some of this stuff.. I LOVE BEER! but I know how easy one can get hooked on it so I only treat myself to good beer on the weekends. i look forward to my few beers and to hunt and find the unusual stuff that comes in.. I LOve BOCK beers. love the bitter stuff! hate the flat stuff that has little kick.. MMMM me love beer!

ps I am a female too.... most of us like wine... give me a beer any day!! !!

Dang!! I forgot the original purpose of this thread.... To post your Faovirite beer.

My current favorite (and you have GOT to try this if you can get your hands on it) is Schwelmer Hefeweizen. Tastes like Bannana Nut Bread with Vanila mixed in. The bannana/vanila flavor is soewhat subtle though, so it's not overpowering. You can still taste small notes of malt and hops to nicely ballance out the flavor.
