From what I read today, it seems that the following definitions were wrong:
AS - Asperger's Syndrome
AD - Asperger's Disorder
Instead, it seems as though they should be the following:
AS - Autism Spectrum (Disorder)
AD - Asperger's Disorder

Besides NT (Neurologically Typical), what other common abbreviations are there?

I've never seen it referred to as Asperger Disorder, which is why we use AS. Autism Spectrum is ASD.

When I started this forum a month ago I had no idea what NT meant.

I soon figured out it was people that did not have aspergers. I suggest NA
NA=No Aspergers
NA+ Not Autistic

That means I am extremely self-deprecatory. At least now I know I should use only AS for Asperger's Syndrome and only ASD for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

NA is universal lingo for "Not Applicable" so we can't use that. It would suggest that some can't be classified as autistic or NT.

Also, AD could potentionaly refer to Autistic Disorder, which is classic autism.

So it goes like this:
AD - (classic) Autistic Disorder (299.00)
AS - Asperger's Syndrome (299.80)
ASD - Autism Spectrum Disorder (one of the above or another variation)

I think my main problems were with all the abbreviations starting with A, but now, I know which ones mean which conditions.

Before you jump to anything I'm going to warn you that I have never seen AD used at all, so it could potentially refer to either one, but I'm going to say it will probably be used as how you listed them.
