Hi everyone,

Today I took the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Test and have been declared to be a INTJ (Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging). About 2% of the population are said to be INTJs. When reading the description, I thought that it could as well be a description of Asperger Syndrome. I wonder if INTJs are more present in the Aspie population than in NTs. It has been discovered before that INTJs are very present in academia.

You can take the test here:

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

or for a more comprehensive test you can go to the official website.

Looking forward to your comments.

I'm INTJ, I being the thing I'm most polarized in and J being the thing I'm the least polarized in. INTJ and INTP are both associated with high intelligience.

I am an INFJ which is the rarest type with around 1%.
I am very storng in the F and I. I am weak in the N.
I think that most aspies probably are INTJ becaue most are intelligent with high IQs.
Many aspies like math, science and computers which would make sense if they are INTJs.
I personally have no interest in those tings because I am an F.
I find this personality test to be very accurate.

I took that test & others before & I'm a hard-core ISTJ & I'm 100% J. Most everything I've read about that type applies to me.

will 2% isn't much different from 1 in 100, or 1 in 150: other purported frequencies of spectrumites per capita. And it being a slightly larger than ASD frequency could be accounted for as encompassing the BAP. Interesting stuff

Pretty solid INTP, but that's probably because I'm Aspie+ADD, and not 100% of one or the other.

I used to think MTBI was like a revelation from ${deity}, but over the past few years I've come to see that the E/I and F/T parameters are pretty solid and obvious, but the N/S and P/J parameters just don't quite cut it. I used to blame it on ADD turning everything into a footnote and special exception, but apparently lots of others now feel the same way about N/S and P/J too.

I got INTJ, but I don't find it accurate. I know from past test results, I am usually split between INFJ and INFP, almost 50/50 on Judging vs. Perceiving

Good grief, I just took the Keirsey sorter and got INTP.

I am firmly am IN but the F/T and J/P vary every time I take a test.

I generally test as INTJ or INTP - I am borderline on the J/P axis, but strong INT.

I'm IntJ

I & J are very strong, but that "t" was only 1% over the "f". So I guess I'm a matermind on the cusp of being a counselor. how bout that.

I think my "f" proclivity is only due to a very rational theory I have that discredits rationality. Paradox? I think not.

I started a sticky thread and poll on this topic three years ago.

You can find it here: "What Is Your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?"

I'm glad I'm not the only one who switches. The J or P changes depending on my mood or whatever.

I'm INFJ, with the I and N being maxed out. I'm quite borderline on the F and J. I tend to think of INTJ as my masculine side, and INFP as my feminine side. I can easily switch between the two.

My brother gave me the Meyers-Briggs when I was a teenager and I tested INTJ, but as an adult it has always come out INFJ, although the F and T are still close.

If anyone is interested in a more complex, intricate version of the MBTI, Lenore Thomson wrote a book called Personality Type an Owners Manual. More complex, more fun. :)
We do love a good system don't we?
