I'm just wondering if this is something related to autism or the spectrum in general. I have mostly flat feet (though not completely) and I'm pigeon-toed (though I can fake walking straight). I actually don't mind that so much because I can go faster and I've got really good balance because of it. But this thread is about flat feet, not being pigeon-toed so... Oh, and the one thing I don't like about having mostly flat feet is that it does make shoe shopping tricker. Most of the shoe arches are too big or the shoes are just a little too narrow, so I often just wear sandals, flip flops, flats, or boots, all of which have little to no arch support. It definitely makes it easier for me and I do like making a fashion statement

I have horribly flat feet and scarily long toes(Almost out of size 11 shoes, finding any larger size is bloody hard too) walking flat on my feet is a challenge actually, feels really clumsy and awkward so I usually balance on my freakish toes and the balls of my feet (my heels never really touch the ground that much) I don't know if it's related to AS but this makes two of us so lets see how it plays out.

Yes, very much so. I have to wear specialist shoes (with special insoles) because of this very reason.

My feet have slightly higher arch than average, and I'm not pigeon-toed, sorry.

Urgh, I remember doing that, and getting a foot fracture. Did I know you when that happened?

I ain't even read any posts on here but I just know that, as usual, having flat feet is something to do with Autism, and my answer is no I don't have flat feet myself, they are very, like, curved kind of thing.

Autism has no one physical phenotype, you cannot determine if someone is autistic from their physical build. Just because some minority physical trait has higher rates among those with Autism does not mean that it's a trait of Autism.

I think my feet aren't flat, I'm not entirely sure what it means or how you tell.

I have high arches as opposed to flat feet. I have a hard time wearing any shoe that I can't stick an orthotic in because the lack of arch support really hurts after a short while.

I think physical abnormalities could be common in autism. It's my poor motor skills relatable to autism, not my flat feet. My feet are completely flat and I've struggled to find a pair of shoes and supports that can take away the pain the front of my foot feels. My toes are long two, I have deformities in both 1st metatarsals. My ankles or thick too though I'm very thin. My balance is horrible and my gait is horrible and my walk is very clumsy.

I've got a lot of things wrong with my body. Been trying to treat tincture for two years now.

I have flat feet. I was put in corrective shoes and they didn't work.

Actually, I have unusually high arches. I also have large gaps in between my first and second toes.

I don't know, I have strangely shaped feet, though. My big toes were almost on the side of my feet when I was an infant but now I have caloused bumps on the opposing sides, I don't know what that means though.

Yeah, mostly flat. It makes buying shoes difficult as I can't wear footwear with any arch at all as it is very painful.
