How do I stop worrying?
Well, the question's in the thread title. I somehow can needlessly worry about things and not know about it. Like today I have received two phone calls from some woman thinking that it's her daughter's phone number both times I've said that she's got the wrong number on the second time she called me said she's going to get the police on me despite explaining that the phone number has been mine for the last six or seven years.
I know fully well that pre paid phones are almost impossible to track but something's still telling me that I probably won't get any sleep tonight because of worry. Usually I don't even know I'm worrying about something is there any way I can get around this?
I read this once, and it helped me somewhat..
worry = simmering fear.
write down your worry. "we bubble
away in our little pots of worry. So, the first thing to do is
face what it is that worries us, and then define it by writing it
down."
"How can you realistically wriggle out of the problem? "
write it down
"If you cannot avoid the problem, what can you do about it?
Now write down reasonable solutions"
"take action on this problem regardless of how serious or scary it may be."
"What is the worst thing that could happen? Write it down."
"Just in case the worst does happen, what is left? Only ignorance/unknown of the future leads to despair."
"All that can be done has been done."
"Worrying about the unknown is inane, because all the possible outcomes can be infinite."
next time this lady calls you, tell her that YOU will call the cops. "Listen lady. This is not your daughter's phone. Stop calling me, stop harassing me or I WILL get the law involved."
Hang up. Don't even listen to her response.
Block her calls after you tell her this. If she does take it to the next step, so what, get the law involved. You will be proved innocent.

That is great advice
Well none of us know what will happen in the future. I believe in a higher power, so I find it easier to explain situations when they arise and plan for the next ones the best I can. I feel confident in my abilities, and in turn I feel less depressed.
As the beatles said - Let it be.
And as marley said, don't worry - cause every little thing is gonna' be alright
Also she sounds crazy so don't worry
