Someone actually made up a name for Australia having to do with AS quite a while ago. I don't remember what this name is, but it wasn't you who came up with it. AS is a very common condition in Australia. There are quite a few people who live there that have it.

quartermass, I think you should sit down with your mum, and explain what happened. Explain that given what happened, it has occured to you that your brother is a theif and a manipulator. That he should see a psychiatrist, psychologist..and if she doesn't see that, then she should see one as well.

He is getting on with his life, and that's good. However, I wonder if he realizes how common his condition is. It's the same as most of us.

Nobody expects the SPAINISH INQUISITION!! !! !!

(Sorry, had to post that for all the Python fans.)

On a serious note, family members have the knack of getting us angrier faster than complete strangers. My wife asks me why I don't stay in touch with my step-brother, and I tell her it's because he's a complete twit. On the whole, I'd rather not subject myself to his sarcasm.

Of course, I'm thinking of this as only a way to talk about the original poster of this thread and how I can make him feel better.

He ain't a thief or manipulator, he's just a controlling and fustrating little c*** at times. I haven't forgiven him, but my attitude towards him has calmed somewhat....

And I told my mother what had happened to cause me to threaten my brother...

He was telling the truth. I don't know why things would work out that way, but I guess they just do.
