Anyone ever had a non-specific feeling of dread, I feel like I've forgotten something or as if something has gone wrong but I don't know what it is, even when I know everything is fine? I can't really explain it, has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. Anxiety doesn't actually have to have a reason. It could just be something the body does. Some types of seizure manifest this way. I hate it when I get that feeling.

Well that just fills me with confidence. Now I have to worry about worrying because I have nothing to worry about which of course will worry me more! Ow...I just hurt my brain.

I feel that way most of the time. Perhaps it's just the unconscious realization that Dec. 21st, 2012 really is the end of the world. :( But seriously, it may be that you are simply reacting to a lot of the happenings around the world right now.

I live with it a large part of the time. Perhaps it is a by-product of a life-time of living with depression. The trouble is, that with a near constant feeling of dread hanging over you you tend to get depressed.

I do dread about specific things, but a lot of the time I also find myself dreading things that aren't specific. When I go out I keep thinking that I've forgotten something, or I keep thinking that something bad is going to happen.

I need to remind myself that atmosphere eventually has a noticeable effect on me. I often seem detached when watching, reading, or listening to outright garbage, but remember it, anxiously, much later.

I've felt this way, after work, too. It's as thought the reality of the situation hits, only once the perception of danger is over.

I feel this way most of the time too. I figure that it is anxiety. I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder on top of AS.
