I keep getting inadvertant double posts... also the board is very slow. It couldn't just be me as I have noticed post activity has declined overall.

Lots of sql database errors on this end.
Haven't noticed the double-posting tho.

Ah, therein lies the conspiracy. 8)

Not only that, but when I log in and press "posts since last visit," it does not show me all the posts since my last visit, only about 10% of them. This is intolerable, I demand sympathy, explanation, and retribution!

The server's in NORTH KOREA!?! No offence, but sounds like a weirdo place for the server to be in.

Server is in California.

There are a lot of people using the site right now. Apparently we need to upgrade to a faster server.

I am not sure if this is completely unrelated but the philosophy board has totally messed up and says that the last comment was made in 1969. I also think I somehow managed to delete a thread that somebody else made when I was trying to delete one of my accidental double posts.

The site also "goes down" quite a bit. I've tried to log on several times only to get that stupid "We're sorry for the inconvienence, wee'll be back shortly" message. I want to blow something up every time I see that.

if you decide to blow something up, please don't blow up our datacenter facility, or we'll have even more problems.

I'd advise the upgrade. I'm thinking the compatibilty for about 20,000 users. What? We'll need a pretty good server by the year 2020.

Costs 'n stuff could make this a problem, though.

Yeah the problem is when they do calculations for their nuclear program it needs too many
system resource. We need to find a happy balance that allows North Korea to develop its
WMD and WP to survive.
----------------------------------

My idea we organise WP into a list of bitorrent files (the complete data base and a
update every 60 seconds). On the client side we constantly try to update all WP members
computers with the entire WP files (day one to 60 seconds ago). This way the server has
a very small load. So that means somebody must write WP client web browser plug-in that will give users most the functionality of the current system.

I've had to switch to Internet Explorer to post, because with my usual browser, I've been getting a blank post a reply page when I clicked "Submit."

I am pretty sad, have some big news and I can't even get into the chatroom and tell my friends there. I don't know if I've been kicked out or what, is the chatroom down or is my behavior terrible or what? Gee whiz, the day I really go in there and say something cool, I can't even go in...and friday the 13th may be my luckiest day, except for the no chatting!
