All the Palestinians have to do is make a settlement, and breed like bunnies for the next 60 years. Israel will be swamped and the game will be over. Not a shot fired nor a rocket launched in anger.

They could have done this 60 years ago. As Abba Eban once said: The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Maybe the Sudanese will over run them.

Cause it is not like Israel would ever ever bomb the settlement or send in the bulldozers to destroy every home in it.

If the Palestinians did that Israel would expand their territory.

If the Palestinians or Israelis are alive in the next 60 years.

There will more than likely be a long violent war first.
The Muslims and Jews have been fighting for years.

That's the reason why clear thinking Israelis who want a Jewish state to continue existing welcome a two state solution. Otherwise, one of two things would happen:

1) Israel would eventually become Palestine, with the Jews disappearing into a vast Arab populace.

Or...

2) Israel would institute a form of Apartheid, in which the Arab majority would live as second class citizens.

Don't Orthodox Jews also breed like bunnies?

The vast majority of Jews in Israel are not orthodox. Some of them are not particularly observant.

Don't tell that to the fundies in this country, who think all Israelis are observant Jews - who will then transform into evangelical Christians after Christ's return.

I thought a good portion of them studied the Torah. Or joined the army.

You can study a holy book without being observant. I've studied parts of the Bible and I'm an agnostic.

Joining the army is a patriotic act and not a religious observance. There are Arabs in the IDF.

A famous case is that of Amos Yarkoni (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amos_Yarkoni).

I can see that, but what does it mean to not be observant? If you do everything but overlook a couple of things, does that make you non-observant?

Jews serve in Iran's military, at least I've read that they aren't exempt from serving.

How come you always have so much dead space in your posts?

Someone needs to explain the "no true Scotsman" thing to me.
