I love playing and watching darts and just recently have started playing for hours straight every day. I think darts could be my current obsession again :P I don't want to stop playing it and would play 24 hours a day if my body would let me.

These are my current new 40g Harrows Assassin set

My Simon Whitlock flights with my Gripper GT (short) stems in red.

My Simpsons - Bart/Lion flights with my Gripper II (short) stems in orange.

I own loads of stems and flights in various colours/designs. I prefer to play with short stems but will also use ultra short ones too, like on my old 30g Bombers

More so watching it than playing it, yet (Ooone unded and eight-ee!)

Of course, you mean the classic countdown from 501 to 0 such that you must reach
exactly zero by scoring a double or either bull (outer bull=25, inner bull=50), correct?

Or do you also play countdown from 301 to 0 where you must start your countdown
the same way you finish it in my example above?

Yeah I did mean 501. I'll also play 301 or 701 too depending on my mood. But most generally 501 :D Also enjoy playing other games on a dart board too.

I just put up a dart board in my basement--my wife got me an electronic dartboard for Christmas.

I'm pretty good at repeating exactly what I did before--so I ended the last game when it got down to 55 by hitting two 20s, and ending with a 15.

Finally got enough practice to end a game on a double--finished out a 5 with a 1 and a double 2--and not have the soft tip darts bounce out! Not easy to finish with a cheap little board--a pro board is a couple inches larger!

It's one of the catchphrases used on Bullseye, a UK game-show that heavily utilises the game of darts. The show aired here on Sunday teatimes during the 1980s and 1990s and was consistently popular for many years. The host, Jim Bowen, actually lives not that far from me.

To get a decent flavour of the show, here's an episode from 1989:

Occasionally I do but not with an actual dartboard, it is magnetic.
I do round the clock at times which is when you go from 1 up to 20 then getting both bulls.
There is the card game where you have a pack of cards, have a few people and you take a card each which are 1 to 10 of one suit only. Then you have 3 lives and each time your number is hit, you lose a life. Last one left wins.
