Grr can't remember song

There was this one hard rock song that was playing on the flight from a from Portugal to Brazil that I really liked, but I completely forgot its name, band, and lyrical content. All I remember is that it was pretty heavy, and that it quickly alternated between somewhat rapid vocals and a brief guitar rift. The song should be fairly modern, probably from summer 2011. Does anyone happen to know what the songs under the rock section were for TAP Portugal flights for Nov. 2011. This song was near the end of the playlist. "Dark Horses" by Switchfoot, "Monster" by Paramore, "Gimme Shelter" by Puddle of Mudd, and "Anything is Possible" by Journey were also part of the playlist, and another song in the playlist had a title similar to one of the lines in the song I'm thinking. Does anyone have absolutely any idea what this song might be?

I dunno, the name Black Stone Cherry does not look familiar.

Ok, I listened to few of Black Stone Cherries stuff, and it didn't sound anything like that. It sounded harder, I tihnk the playing stopped while he was signing, and I think his voice was harsher or something and sounded stranger.
