I definitely LOVE Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats! It's one of my favorite books. I'm a fan of T.S. Eliot in general and all literary cat lovers.

We have a lot of serious and sincere pet people here, who are also serious and sincere friends on WP!

Isabella,

I am singing all the songs from Cats in my mind. RumTumTugger is a fun song. Memory is poignant and sad. It brings a lump to my throat thinking of all my beautiful old cats, especially Samantha, who lived to be 20. As I get older myself now, I think of the song's message: "Love me, even though I'm older."

Well, the family cat Archie lived to be 20 years old, but you'd never know that as, he did not have any gray fur.
