Despite the fact that I have the movie on both DVD and Blu Ray and that I would have to pay a train ticket and a cinema ticket and also that the movie isn't that good, I will go see it for a number of reasons
1) I'm a huge Star Wars fan.

2) It's not that bad of a movie.

3) The other better movies will be re-released in the future and I will want to check those out so logically I will need to watch this film.

4) I like seeing an old movie that I've seen before on the big screen.

I like The Phantom Menace, but not enough to see it AGAIN in the cinema. I saw it when it came out.

My entire introduction to Star Wars was seeing The Phantom Menace in theaters, so there's no way I'll miss this nostalgia trip! :D (I actually re-watched it on Blu-ray and I recognize that it has some pretty major flaws, but I still like it)

If I can find a 2D screening at a time that works with my schedule, I'll go see it. If the schedule doesn't work out, I'll hold out and pray that the re-releases make it to at least Episode 3.

I'm going to see it just for the fun of seeing it in 3D. I usually avoid 3D films, regarding 3D as just a gimmicky fad that will soon pass, but hey, it's Star Wars. Not the best Star Wars film, of course, but any port in a storm.

*checks theater times for next week*
Nope. Nothing checks out. Guess I'll be watching from the sidelines this round to see if it does enough business for them to release the others.

Just been to see it. It was great fun seeing it on the big screen again. The 3D worked well, I liked the fact that it wasn't a "made in 3D" film so it didn't have stupid things flying out of the screen at you for no good reason.

don't know, the first Star Wars movies I saw were the prequels! I loved them when i was a kid (I even liked Jar Jar Binks & bought all the merchandise!) but as an adult I think the prequels are really weak compared to the original Trilogy!

Life is way too short. No matter what you do George, admit it: "It's a disaster"
This movie need less (JJB) not more (3d).

I took my 7 year old son to see it yesterday and loved it, of course i love the original trilogy better  but it was a real father son moment taking my son to see star wars on the big screen, i remember my father taking me to see Empire Srikes Back

The 3D quality was poor though
