I know that the topic of "Best places for Aspies" has been brought up before, but there is a possible job offer in Burlington, VT. What is your impression of VT in terms of being Aspie friendly?

A quick google search shows many therapists who specialize in Aspergers, multiple autism spectrum groups, and a college that is rated as being Aspie friendly.

Everyone in that general area of New England is pretty nice. I have only been to Burlington once. It had more cows than people. I think cows are Aspie friendly :)

I think so. I have NLD and I live in Burlington and really like it. It is small enough that I don't feel overwhelmed even downtown, and it's easy to escape to a quiet space if needed. It's pretty much a "live and let live" mindset up here. Feel free to PM me if you have questions about anything.

Burlington is a city still, but on the aspie friendly side of cities. It comes down to what in particularly you enjoy, but Vermont as a whole is rather nice.

It's close to Waterbury, which is where Ben and Jerry's ice cream is made. Oh to live in Ben and Jerry country.

I know of a reasonably well known autistic advocate/blogger/youtuber who lives there so you could read some of their experiences and find out if you wish.
