Good News- My job is sending me to Boston for a few days to do some training classes.

This is really cool. For one, I have never been to Boston as an adult, and would love to see the historical sights. For 2, it would be pretty much a free vacation. 2-3 hours of training classes a day, a few lunches/dinners with folks, and thats pretty much it.

Bad News- They are gonna make me fly out there.

I HATE FLYING. The noise, the earaches, the crammed in like a sardine can, the noise, UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH.

I am so a white knuckle flyer. I hate not being able to see where I am going.

I know it is silly to wish that they would allow me to drive across country, but damnit, I would like that so much better!

Flying?? [recoils in horror]... No way. All those people playing sardines... hell on earth... or in the sky, I suppose.

I drive everywhere. Can't stand being in close proximity to others; trains and planes are definately no go areas.

I dislike flying as well, but I end up forcing myself to do it several times a year, anyway. I have little choice.

I dont remember the noise so much, maybe because it is short lived. I do remember and hate the crowded airport and lines. And though I like to sit by the window and laugh at the fact im flying several thousand feet off the ground, im still nervous underneath, not just flying but the fact that even one bump and its not your just run off the road, but if you have a hiccup, then if the accident dont kill ya, the 30,000 fall will. I flew on a small plane once about a 1000 feet and on a commercial jets one trip on like four different planes.
