I once saw a movie on TV many years ago i really liked it but could not note down the name since i saw it midway

Can anyone please tell me which movie it is since i want to see it again.

I remember it was a love story and boy from the city comes to this village and there he meets a country girl. They make love in the haystack and river etc.
Finally the boy as to leave back to the city the girl says that she will join him soon.
The boy leaves and the girl is very sad
she decides to go to the city she doesnt have nice dress so she buys a pretty dress.
The boy had promised her to meet at a selected location when the girl arrives the boy heads towards her suddenly there two men appear they are carrying big mirrors and the boy gets hidden behind the mirror at that moment he decides to leave
He leaves the place they dont meet, the girl is very upset she returns back to her village.

many years pass and this man now returns to the village in search of her.
as he is passing down her house a boy runs past his car, he stops his car and looks at that boy
the boy resembles him, the boy is a carbon copy of him
he calls the boy and ask him where is mother is and the boy replies that is mother is no more

does anyone know which movie this is???????
