About 1-1:30am the website went down and stayed that way for over an hour before I gave up. Yet, I kept getting notifications and saw this morning that other people posted during that time.
Has the WP server just had enough of me? :P

It's The Patriots, they control the internet now.

Yes.

In all seriousness though, there are a lot of steps between your computer and the WP server (or, more generally, any computer on the internet). Any one of those steps being broken can prevent you from accessing anything over that path. Most of the time the Internet heals itself, but sometimes it just doesn't.

I had something like that the other night. I kept getting a Cloudfare error page. It must have only been me as plenty of posts were made while I was unable to access the site.

I got the cloudfare page for the first time today, could it be part of the change described here I wonder?

Yes. The change mentioned in that post was actually adding cloudflare, so it's fair to say cloudflare errors are related to that.

Having said that, cloudflare is a distributed service, so content gets pushed from different servers around the world. So, it's really hard for us to reproduce those errors.

If you want, for lack of a better way of handling it, feel free to take a screenshot, or copy/paste those errors into a PM and send it to me - I'll sift through them and make sure those errors are represented/addressed with both the team at Sliqua, and to Alex.

I got the cloudfare thing aswell just a few minutes ago, but I clicked on the option to try a live version of the site or something and since then it seems to have been ok. Not really quite sure what that meant though.
