According to this, vaccination rates in England and France are too low to control measles, and Americans going to the London Olympics might start an epidemic when they come home. And we have Dr. Wakefield to thank.  I wonder if parents in England who have had kids killed or disabled by measles still think measles is better than autism.

They may also wish to bring their life savings to cover the cost of a tank of petrol

It's for practical reasons. (And it's not just England but the whole of the UK). Yes, there's been a slew of measles cases lately! In adults, measles can be especially bad. The consequences of measles can be serious and why vaccines matter. At local university, there's been an outbreak of measles amongst undergraduates from all 'round the world and it's highly contagious. Advice, if you're travelling to England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland anytime soon be sure your shots are up to date.

And you have to thank the media and Cherie and Leo Blair. Bigger players.

Last time our American clients were over here they were surprised at how little they spent on fuel. The car we hired for them was a little diesel doing 50+ miles per gallon, and they were used to huge 4x4s and pick up trucks doing about 8mpg.
