Here is an example:
Topic- www.wrongplanet.net/postxf188518-0-15.html
Watch topic link - http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt188518. ... c&start=15

These links are very different, and I can not subscribe to any topics at all at the moment.

I noticed this while trying to click a link to a topic I already watched, and that topic no longer existed. The link I got in my email was this; http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php? ... 99#4489799

To me, it seems like the naming of topic links has been changed, perhaps all over, and that has caused an error in watching topics links.

edit: I managed to subscribe to a topic using the link called "Watch this topic for replies"; http://www.wrongplanet.net/topic188518-watch.html
However, on the first page it works, but if I click the same link on the second page of a thread, it doesn't work; http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt188518. ... c&start=15

First two links: Not sure what the problem is. One leads to page two, the other lead to page one of the same topic. They're both leading to the topic, so I don't really understand the problem.

Third link: Thread was likely deleted by a moderator.

Subscribe links on the thread pages: Yes, the links only work from page one of any topic. It's a long known bug.

The first link is just to demonstrate the difference between it and the second link. The second link is suppose to make you subscribe to the topic, but since "watch topic from page 2+" is a known bug, then I guess its already reported.

It wasn't deleted, but it could have been moved perhaps. I did a search for the headline and found it instantly, so its not deleted. :) And one other thing, no one had replied to the thread since I replied, so it was abit weird that I got a notification that someone had answered. But then again, someone probably answered and deleted their answer.

Thanks for clearing up that the "watch topic" was a known bug. Since I noticed it while also stumbling over a broken link, I thought something big were going on, like renaming of each thread link or something(have seen this on other forums).

That's precisely it. The error reports as "The topic or post you requested does not exist" which is a bit 'general-purpose' - but if the post had been moved to one of the moderator areas I would still be able to see it.

BTW, if you haven't yet spotted it: receiving a "post/topic not found" error means that your watch on that thread has just been deactivated.
That's by no means intentional - just an unfortunate side-effect...
