Hi and welcome to WP

Hi all, I scored 43 on the Autism Spectrum Quotient test, I'm a 27 year old INTJ who's dated only one person in my life -- my now-ex-wife. I recently read Wikipedia's full entry on AS, and was shocked at how much it fit me, all the way back as far as I could remember. I would often be forced to sit in front of a homework assignment for half-an-hour, and be able to make virtually no progress, simply because I could not turn on my brain. I have above average intelligence, so that was not the problem. Interest in the subject seem ESSENTIAL to my ability to do it, even if separate from my non-interest I willed myself to do it. This was often percieved as mere stubborness, for so little was known about AS back then.
