Are you the same way with Christmas?

Personally I don't care about the religious aspects one bit. I just use the "religious holidays" as an excuse for gluttony.

Perhaps these festivals have evolved from their original purpose, and I won't stand in the way of that. Evolution can be a wonderful thing.

Besides, most of the main religions are all just rip-offs of the same concept, and employ all sorts of Pagan and ancient Roman aspects too.

Anyway, enough with the in depth discussions....

Yea pretty much.. It's not the religion I respect though just the character of Christ. Whether he lived or not I respect the idea of someone so truly altruistic.
Fudo doesn't like the delusion of the bunny either.I don't expect to change any minds especially not fundamentalist atheists but one must be true to oneself.

And I don't consider myself an atheist, I would say I am agnostic.

I like easter because it involves eggs :x And i love colored eggs, and pokemon eggs, and digimon eggs, because i think they're awesome :D Happy easter everyone, and good luck Rabbitears!

Wasn't saying you were atheist like, just I imagine some would say he definitely doesn't exist etc and that maybe why they don't hold with reverence for JC.

Oh I get what you mean. I wouldn't say "he definitely didn't exist" but I don't know. He may have just been a made up character in the bible, like so many others, or he might have been a real person with good intentions, like a priest or something, and over many years his legacy became more and more far-fetched until stories of miracles arose. Kinda like Chinese whispers.

I like the action figures though.

You must understand that I forget pretty much everyones' Easter gifts as I have to deliver to quite a few billion people, so it' hard to track.

Actually, I heard that The Easter Bunny got mad at a few people one year, and that those black jelly beans in their Easter Baskets WEREN'T JELLY BEANS!!
