Welcome to WP! Maybe you can tell us a little about yourself? I'm 23, infantryman in the US Army, deployed. Married, no kids. (least that's the cliffnotes version, lol).

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I am in my mid 20's, I babysit as a job, love music and love to read. I also am a bit shy at first :oops: .
Just taking a longer look at the board, it seems incredbily supportive. I am so pleased there is a place like this.

Hi Sugarbear! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Check out the different forums and articles here. They are interesting and helpful. You are among friends here.

Glad to hear you are babysitting as a job. I think more of us should consider self employment. It allows people to set their own hours, and take on only what they can handle. Also, there is less likelihood of social problems between employees if you work for yourself, unless you hire people to work for you. But then you are the boss, and they are less likely to make trouble for the person who signs their pay checks. :lol: Also, you are really not socializing with customers/clients. Rather, you are providing a service or product, and are relating to them in a business way. That is not the same as mainly socializing.

Thank you very much. I agree, although I am thinking about looking for another job if I can find one. I've been babysitting for years now, I want a change. Not sure exactly what just yet!
