Glad to hear you are babysitting as a job. I think more of us should consider self employment. It allows people to set their own hours, and take on only what they can handle. Also, there is less likelihood of social problems between employees if you work for yourself, unless you hire people to work for you. But then you are the boss, and they are less likely to make trouble for the person who signs their pay checks.
Also, you are really not socializing with customers/clients. Rather, you are providing a service or product, and are relating to them in a business way. That is not the same as mainly socializing.
