Starting college was probably the hardest thing I've had to do so far in life, and I didn't even move out. The thing is that I thought it would get easier over time, and that's what everyone told me... But I think I'm even more stressed and anxious than I was when I first started. There are just so many people. Walking to class is like a battle zone. People ride their bikes right past me, there are a bunch of people trying to get you to vote for things and sign petitions, there is usually some kind of music playing.. if I don't blast my music in my headphones, I get really freaked out. I'm exhausted at the end of the day because of being around people and having to socialize during class. I get my work done, even though it's hard to get myself to do it. But the social aspect of college is just really difficult. Also, every single term, everything changes. It's like... I just got used to the schedule and my classmates, then I have to start over again. It's seriously taking a toll on me and I just needed to write about it. I don't know if I have Asperger's or not, but it's just really difficult and I thought I might be understood a little if I posted here.
I'm not the type of person to give up on something, but it's really hard to keep doing this with how much of a struggle it is every day.

First, take fewer courses per semester. I know it will take longer to get through that way, but you won't be quite so wiped out all the time. If you go on the way you have been, you are likely to burn out and drop out before you are done.
Second, get a T-shirt that says "NO SOLICITING" and lists under it:
- Sales
- Votes
- Donations
- Religion
- Subscriptions
- Surveys/Polls
That should discourage the campus pitch men/women from bothering you as you go by.
I have a NO SOLICITING sign on my door that I printed out myself. It has kept most of these pests away. I still get the occasional local kid selling cookies/candy, the occasional religious folk, and the occasional idiot sales people who can't read. I realize that the kids don't know what the sign means, but the others should.

lol the shirt would be funny. Whenever i get stressed i try to keep it all in perspective. Try thinking of your problems then think bout the size of the earth, then the solar syestem then the universe. Sometimes it helps me when i do this and when things get hard to bare. Makes me feel like as bad as i got it in the scheme of things it is kinda small and liveable. It may or may not work for you but might as well as give it a try.
