Everyone can use a hug!

Remember, when you're at your very worst, things can only go up for you after that. It might take some time but you'll get there.

Except if you're actually depressed, the depression doesn't just go away and actually gets worse throughout your life.

Never mind me, I feel terrible at the moment.

Ya, I know the feeling, I've been at my worst and I'm still depressed but I'm not as depressed as I was last summer. I was so depressed I started hearing and seeing things that weren't there, I eventually went crazy and ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks. I'm definitely not overjoyed right now but it's a big improvement from last year.

What to do when the only light you see at the end of the proverbial tunnel is that of an oncoming proverbial train?

I have been feeling depressed since March of this year. The last few days it has been getting worse. I have been crying a lot. I don't like depression but I have had it since most of my life. Not continuously though. Just most of the time. There are times where I get mildly manic (hypomania). Sad to say I have been diagnosed as having schizoaffective disorder but I don't believe I have that because the voices are just a couple to a few time a day (where as the rest of the day is simply thought insertion which I don't actually hear) and I see things as well. Today I saw a person flying across the sky. It went right in front of the car while I was being a passenger. The docs say I have delusions of both the bizarre and non-bizarre type. I am terrified right now. I am sorry for all who suffer from depression. You will be in my thoughts. I am not looking forward to my future. The only future that I am happy about is gaming technology. Man is that exciting since E3 is coming up. Amazing. My hair continues to itch. I take meds for that though so I can sleep at night without scratching that much. People are always in the way. Hugs for all! My brother is very huggable though.

Thank you, OP.

That actually really made my day.
