How do you handle people who text you too damn much??!

I'm having that problem right now. This guy I met very recently (who seems to be very infatuated with me) texts me entirely too much! And all these texts he sends me only gets me to resent him. There are other people I'd much rather be texting, and it frustrates me to get all these texts from him when I could be getting texts from people I actually enjoy talking to more.

Anyway, if anybody else currently has, or ever has had, this problem how do/did you handle it?

Have you asked him to stop texting you so much?

You can always say it in a playful and casual way, though. It will sound less rude.

Although I do try to drop hints by deliberately ignoring some of his texts sometimes.

When I say that this guy is infatuated with me, I am not exaggerating. He thinks he's in love with me, he thinks I'm "the one." I let him off nicely, but his strong affection toward me persists.

If all else fails, why not give him a chance? You never know.

"Dude, you text me way too much! im not going anywhere, save some for tomorrow!"

Its a tricky situation as you don't want to come across too strong and hurt his feelings. If I were you, I would continue to ignore some of the texts and perhaps be a bit dry when you do respond. Don't stop talking to him completely though as who knows, there could be a good guy underneath all that clingy affection

Check the regional press for coded messages from ex Eastern block hitmen advertising their services. Make a reservation in a local hotel under an assumed name and meet the hitman there. Provide all the relevant information, and once you are assured of the hitman's discretion, have the guy texting you killed and disposed of.

My phone can't handle all these messages been sent to it. Can you please show some compassion to my phone & just relax & take a deep breath.

On a side note for what ever he's texting you for, pick which one you want to give to him. Rather than ignoring, no matter what way you say, if you don't feel that way then just say it. Think about what happens when you get ignored.
