I haven't but I'm planning to this weekend. I want to watch The Avengers (which I've already seen but I wanna see it again because I think I might have missed a few things and I want to see if I can like it more) and Beauty and the Beast 3D (which I already have on Blu ray and seen a couple of times but I wanna see it on the big screen and listen out for other peoples reactions). I could just see one film and see the other one next weekend but I think there maybe other films in the future so I wanna tone down a little despite the fact that I'll be paying to go on the train and pay for 2 film tickets in one day but I still think it's worth it despite the fact that I've already seen one film and have the other at home and would watch for free but whatever.

My biggest single-day cinema accomplishment was in 1997 when I saw all three original Star Wars films in the theater back-to-back-to-back. That was a long day at the theater, but when you're 16, you can survive on having movie concessions for lunch and dinner. :)

Since then, I've pulled a few double-headers. I know on an off-day at a church conference I went to a couple of times, both times I spent the day at the nearby theater.

Depending on the theatre you could just buy one ticket (or none). I haven't done it before, but I snuck a foot long sub into a movie one time

Just remembered I have. I saw spiderman 2 and garfield at a drive in theatre.

I've done it a few times and I love it.

I remember the first time I did it I saw The Faculty then Payback.

Yes I am that old!

A local cinema used to show double features on a Sunday afternoon.

Quite a few cinemas had a Twilight marathon for Breaking Dawn (Pt 1). This consisted of all the Twilight films, with Breaking Dawn starting just after midnight on its first day of release.

I went to a late night horror marathon (4 horror films starting around 23:30). I bailed after the third film as I had run out of energy.

I saw both The Exorcist and Ronin on DVD on Sunday. Talk about two very different films!

Back when I was a young kid, my father would run the projectors for some extra money, and I would get to go to the movies for free instead of paying for a babysitter. I really enjoyed that. I think I got an early start on sex ed by getting to sit through some R rated movies that I had no business seeing at my age.

I don't think I ever did that and the last movie I saw in the theater was Saw 3d in 2010.

As I've mentioned I'll be going this weekend but yesterday my Grandma was rushed to Hospital and I went to see her today and though she's stable she's hooked up to wires and tubes and still ill and we won't know her condition til probably tommorrow. I'm still gonna go to the cinema tommorrow and enjoy the films but at first I was thinking of not going inspite of what's happened but my parents and sister said I should go and have a good time and they'll keep me informed. The thing that's going through my mind is that I hope people don't think I'm insensitive for doing this.
