I was listening to Plummet's "Damaged" yet again a little earlier and I thought I'd post the lyrics, just to see if anyone else here identifies with them.

It's supposedly about sexual abuse, yet I've never been sexually abused and I can relate to it perfectly. I'm guessing most likely other Aspies can as well, given how many of us feel so cut off from other people.

I love love love that song. The original artist was Plumb, Plummet covered it later. I only know her version, never heard Plummet's. It's on her album "candycoatedwaterdrops". There is a very good techno remix of the song too, which I also love, though the different sound/tempo almost gives the song an entirely new meaning. I love pretty much everything I've heard from her. Another song by her I really identify with is "Bittersweet"

Even though I haven't heard the song, I can defiantly relate. Have you heard of KiD CuDi's "Man On The Moon"?

I read the lyrics and didn't 'see' anything - sometimes texts hold no particular meaning to me (I know it might sound offensive... but that's truly something in how I'm wired, so I apologise), but now that you've said it's about sexual abuse, I'm drawn to things like that for no particular reason either, maybe just drawn to the dramatisation of something I haven't experienced. I actually know too many songs about it.
