It's seen as feminine nowadays, but it actually used to be the opposite. Pink was for boys and blue was for girls. I remember hearing a story about how in the early 1900s department stores were trying to decide on what colors to make their boys and girls clothing and decided on pink for boys because it's close to red which is masculine. I think this trend lasted until the 1940s.

There was a discussion about this in The Philosoraptor Thread, and I posted a link there about pink being the former masculine color and blue being the former feminine color.
I do not see what is wrong with a male wearing pink. I've seen guys wear pink before, and some tend to look better in pink than others, but there's nothing wrong with it...

This is also covered in the QI episode "boys & girls", is on YouTube in full somewhere. And I might've posted it in the related thread ages ago
Also goes on to explain how boys were even called girls.
Also, though don't blame me, has possibly the greatest-timed joke ever but that can stay as a surprise.

Why do so many people in the real world out there say that men shouldn't wear pink? What is wrong with a man wearing a shirt that is a shade of pink?
Actually, from what I've seen it's not weird for a man to wear a pink shirt these days, namely if you're an office worker. It's kids that think it's wrong.

From throwing everything into the washer at all once, I think a few of my clothes have obtained a slight pink hue. And I'm completely comfortable with that.
